## Raffle Cancellation Policy

### State Commission Approval Required

* Must obtain approval from gaming commission in all applicable states
* Cancellation requires formal authorization before proceeding
* Each state has specific requirements and procedures

### Financial Implications

* Processing fee: 5.5% of all card transactions
* Covers RaffleLink administrative and transaction costs
* Organization will receive invoice for processing fees
* Fee applies regardless of cancellation reason

### Cancellation Process

#### Step 1: Authorization

* Submit cancellation request
* Await state commission approval
* Provide required documentation

#### Step 2: Buyer Notification

* All ticket purchasers must be notified
* Can easily do this by accessing all buyer's emails in your Sales Report
  * Make sure to BCC all buyers to respect privacy
* Email should include the following and CC <support@rafflelink.com.au>
  * Cancellation reason
  * Refund information
  * Timeline for refunds

#### Step 3: Refund Processing

* Full ticket price refunded to buyers
* Refunds processed via original payment method in 3-5 business days
* All transactions documented

#### Step 4: Raffle Closure

* Raffle archived in system
* Records maintained as required by state regulations
